Tea & clay · Shaxi, Yunnan

From the mountain,
made by hand.

We travel to small farms across Yunnan to find teas with a sense of place. Back in Shaxi, we shape quiet vessels for drinking them slowly.

Our cups, pots and lids are pinched, thrown and glazed here in Shaxi. The edges wander a little. The glazes settle differently each time. That is the point.

Our story · 我们

Two paths,
one table.

The couple learning about tea leaves with a farmer in a misty Yunnan garden
Visiting a tea grower in the mountains of Yunnan.

One of us follows tea roads into the mountains. The other follows clay through her hands. We came to Shaxi for its old streets and unhurried days—and stayed for the people who gather around tea.

This little shop is our way of sharing what we find and make. Come for a cup. Stay for a song.
